Welcome to People4Parole! We're a group of friends and families of prisoners working to bring back parole to Washington State.
We believe a system of periodic sentence review is the only way to make sure that worthy individuals with long sentences can earn release from prison, and that those who are released will not present a threat to the public. Keeping men and women in prison when they no longer need to be is an unforgiveable waste, both in terms of tax dollars and wasted lives.
We're also working to make sure the kinds of programs and services people need in order to prepare themselves to safely return to the community are available.
This is an ambitious project, and we need your help to succeed.
